General Info

  • Is Main Lake Market open year-round?

    No. The Main Lake Market is a seasonal business operating from May 1 through October 31st. Lake water levels and extreme seasonal cold/ice may affect the dates we are able to be open.

  • What are your business hours?

    Main Lake Market has two sets of operating hours:

    Peak-Season: June 15 – September 2nd, 7 days a week: 7 am – 9 pm

    Off-Peak Season: May 1- June 14th, September & October, Mon – Fri: noon to 7 pm and Sat - Sun:  9 am to 7 pm

    Main Lake Market is closed the Tuesday after Memorial Day.

  • How do I get to the Main Lake Market?

    Main Lake Market is accessible by boat and car. Boat customers will find Main Lake Market on the main lake’s Prospect Point. Guests arriving by car will find us at 234 South New Jersey Avenue. The nearest main intersection is Brady Bridge Road and Schwarz Boulevard. South New Jersey Avenue continues past the end of Schwarz Boulevard.

  • Do you carry ice?

    Yes, we sell bags of ice.

  • Are you pet/dog friendly?

    We invite dogs to stretch their legs on our property, provided that they are on a leash and under the supervision of a responsible human. Guests with dogs are responsible for cleaning up dog waste as well as their dog’s interaction with customers and other dogs. We reserve the right to request a dog be taken off the property if it is not leashed or poses a health or security risk to other guests. We do sell dog toys and life vests.

Marine, Boating and Watersport

  • What Gas service do you offer?

    We pump 93 Octane gas to moored boats and gas cans only from the time we open through one half hour prior to sunset. We also carry two-stroke and four-stroke oils as well as fuel additives. 

  • What Marine Supplies do you carry?

    We carry items needed for compliance with the State Required Boating Equipment. We also carry marine supplies customers may need including cleaning supplies, anchors, dock/fender lines, oars and hooks, safety equipment, fenders and a variety of marine hardware replacement parts. 

  • What Boating/Watersport equipment do you carry?

    We keep our shelves filled with a variety of boat tubes and towables, skis, knee and wake boards, as well as a variety of tow and ski ropes. Additionally, we carry water toys, swim goggles, ear and nose plugs as well as rafts, and floats.

  • What fishing supplies do you carry?

    We carry a small but well-rounded selection of fishing supplies including mid-priced combo rod/reels, snells, lines, and live worms (in an outdoor vending machine). We also stock coolers, binoculars, fishing hand tools, sport hats, and cooling towels.

Deli & Ice Cream

  • Are you a sit-down/table service restaurant?

    Main Lake Market is a take-out deli establishment only. We do have limited seating on property both inside and out.

  • Can I call ahead to pick up an order? Do you deliver?

    Place your order over the phone (973) 663-0544 or online for curbside or dockside pickup! Please have a credit card ready. We do not deliver.

    For Dockside Pickup: We're located on the main lake on Prospect Point.

  • What are the deli hours of operation?

    Our deli opens when the market opens and closes at 7 pm. The grill turns off at 1 pm.

  • What foods are available from the deli?

    The deli offers made-to-order breakfast sandwiches, cold deli sandwiches, and hot dogs as well as seasonal and daily specials including soups, hot deli sandwiches and fresh green salads. Our guests can pick up pre-made sandwiches, salads, and parfaits from our Grab and Go case during all operation hours. We stock our shelves with water, sodas, juices, iced and hot coffee, chips, power bars, candy and cookies.

  • What are the ice cream parlor hours of operation?

    The ice cream counter operates daily no earlier than 11 am until closing. We have a wide variety of frozen novelty items available for sale throughout the day.

  • What products does the ice cream parlor offer?

    We have a fully outfitted parlor upstairs serving delicious ice cream treats including hard and soft ice cream, banana splits, frozen hot chocolate, and old-time parlor treats and sodas.

  • Can you honor dietary restrictions?

    We strive to have choices which fulfill customers with dietary restrictions/needs. We can often accommodate gluten-free, non-dairy, and vegetarian options. Please let us know and we can see how we can partner up creating something for you. NOTE: Our facility does have tree nut and peanut products on our shelves and in our kitchen.
